Trajectory
After an intense sports career as a sprinter, he joined the sports brand Nike as a Communication and Institutional Relations Specialist for Iberia. Between 2002 and 2006 she was Director of Communications for Iberia and later she held the same position in Eastern Europe and East Africa and then in Western Europe. Since 2018 she has been part of Grifols.

Teresa Rione is CCO of Grifols, a global healthcare company that manufactures pharmaceutical products. She has been the person who has managed to get the company to sponsor women’s football at the European level. In addition, she is a former record-holder athlete in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, she became the first Spaniard to pass a qualifying round in the speed test, remaining one place away from the semi-finals with a time of 11.55. She also participated in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games and represented Club Esportiu Universitari de Barcelona and Club Gimnastic Barcelonès, with whose colors she obtained the Spanish marks in both distances. After her retirement from competition, she worked as a journalist at Telemadrid and as Public Relations Director for Nike Spain. She was Queen of Cava in 1984.
